Abdon Olvera

Abdon Olvera, 70, of Mexia, passed away on May 2, 2018 in Mexico. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mexia with Fr. Carlo Benjamin P. Magnaye, M.F., officiating. Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery. Family visitation will be held starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, and will be until a rosary, which will be held at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Olvera was born on July 30, 1947 in Mexico to J. Bernabe & Margarita Olvera. He was a very hard-working man that loved his kids and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Josefina Quiroz Olvera; children, Victor Olvera, Araceli Olvera, Abdon Olvera Jr. and Adrian Olvera; grandchildren, Victoria Olvera, Jacolby Olvera, Elias Olvera, Valeria Olvera, Aiden Olvera, Victor Olvera, Sebastian Olvera, Esteban Olvera, Carlos Olvera, Humberto Olvera and great-granddaughters, Zury Macias and La ‘Reyna Olvera.
