Angela Charlene Tweedle

Angela Tweedle, 64 of Mexia, entered into her Heavenly home on April 11, 2026 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco, Texas.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Kerry McMahon and Brian Laymance officiating.  Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service, starting at 1:00 p.m. 

Angela was born on November 5, 1961 in Mexia, Texas to Bruce and Zella Mae Rainer Ray.  She married Danny Tweedle on November 12, 1977 in Mexia, Texas.  She was a devoted wife to Danny and mother to her daughters, Amy and Leeann.  She loved being with family and their hill country family vacations.  She loved cooking and was known for her seven up cake and her peanut butter cookies.  She loved her grandchildren dearly and worship music.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ricky Ray.  Left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, Danny Tweedle of Mexia; daughters, Amy Burkhart and husband, David and Leeann Freeman and husband, Brad; granddaughter, Hanna Burkhart; grandson, Gunnar Guest and granddaughter, Emerson Freeman. 

Serving as pallbearers are David Burkhart, Gunnar Guest, Brad Freeman, Jason Ray, Cory Laymance and Terry Laymance.
