Annette Elizabeth Glass, 71, passed away peacefully at home, enjoying the view of Lake Mexia, surrounded by her family and friends.
Annette was born on April 29, 1953 in Denver, Colorado, to Ellis and Donna Sutton Saunders. She graduated high school and then obtained an associate’s degree. She had many talents and job skills, and was very diverse with her career.
Mrs. Glass is described as a loving person with truly a Servant’s Heart and a sense of community. She was very involved in every community she called home. From the different service organizations, to being a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts, which she was very proud of. She even started a community game night at Lake Mexia, which people very much enjoyed.
Traveling was a thing that she really enjoyed, including the cruises she got be a part of and especially going to Branson, Missouri, where she went most. Most importantly, she loved her family, friends and everyone she ever met, and would let them know it. She really did love unconditionally. Annette was a member of the Lone Star Church of Limestone County in Mexia.
Preceding in death were her husband, John Glass and her parents. Left to cherish the wonderful memories are her daughters, Sanndee Hall & Jason of Parker, Texas, Leah Malone of Bandera, Texas, Katy Goff & Roger of Mexia, Texas and Marsha Greene & Shawn of Junction, Texas; grandchildren, James Glass (Nieve Sanchez), Christopher Goff (Drew Penn), Ciara Goff (Jacob Stanga), Ethan Goff (Hailey Harrison), Garrett Goff, Charity Greene, Avary Greene and Allen Manbeck; sisters, Charlene Saunders, Dawn Looman (Lonnie) and Paulette Sharp (Kevin); brother, Phillip Saunders (Caren) and many additional nieces, nephews, family and friends.
