Beverly was born on June 1, 1937 in Horn Hill, Texas to Cleve & Carmen Rutherford Tucker. She Married A.E. “Hick” Ferguson in November of 1955. She drove a school bus for many years and helped Hick on the farm before going back to school to become a nurse. She was a retired LVN, working during her career at Limestone Medical Center and the Teague Prison, as well as vaccine clinics. As a nurse, Beverly was a true caregiver, always putting the needs of her patients first. She had a gentle touch and a calming presence that brought comfort to those in her care. Her dedication to her work was a reflection of her deep love for others, and her legacy as a nurse will be remembered for years to come. Beverly was a member of Prairie Grove Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Director, teacher and church secretary/treasurer. Her love for Jesus was evident in all she did. She lived her life with grace and humility and she never sought recognition or praise for her actions, but instead found joy in helping others and making a difference in their lives. Her faith was a source of strength and comfort and she shared it freely with those around her.
Beverly was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her family above all else and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She faced many challenges in life but never lost her faith or her love for her family. Although we mourn the loss of Beverly, we take comfort in knowing that she is now re-united with Hick, Wesley, Big Daryl and Little Daryl. She is now at peace and her legacy of love and compassion will live on through her family and all those lives she touched.
