Bruce Dale Moore Sr.

Bruce Dale Moore, Sr. 71, passed away on February 21, 2026, at his residence in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Bishop Bobby Baker, officiating.  Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service, starting at 1:00 p.m. 

Mr. Moore was born on March 5, 1954, in Galveston, Texas to Willie Dock and Ruby Owen Moore.  He was in the furniture business his whole life.  Bruce is described as a good-hearted guy, who took care of everyone before thinking of himself.  After his retirement, he spent most of his time taking care of his grandchildren and telling of his “wild adventures” of going to Walmart & HEB.  He enjoyed watching high school and college football and baseball, watching westerns and listening to Elvis Presley and Conway Twitty. 

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Don Moore.  Left to cherish his memories are his children, Bruce Dale Moore Jr. & wife, Jamie of Rowlett, Texas, Brent Moore of Rowlett, Texas and Carli Nunes and husband, Jon of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren, Payton Moore, Blake Moore and Benjamin Moore; sisters, Patricia Wright of Arkansas, and Shirley Speed and Martie Davis of Gun Barrel City, Texas; his wife, Joy Moore of Corpus Christi, Texas; step-children, Nicole Smith & husband Adam and Nicholas Davis & wife, Christi all of Brandon, Mississippi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Serving as pallbearers are Brent Moore, Chris Barr, Michael Jennings, Jon Nunes, Cody Hortman and Tony Jaques.
