Carol White Obituary
Carol Jo Champion White, 68, of Mexia, Texas, passed away on August 11, 2019 at Providence Hospital in Waco. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Thornton with Brother Paul Moore, officiating. Family visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery.
Carol Jo Champion White was born on August 29, 1950 in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma to Peggy & John Wayne Champion. She married Robert White on August 20, 1971 in Irving, Texas. She was a school teacher and later a nurse with the Irving ISD. Later, a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her husband and daughter. She loved to joke and laugh, which was infectious.
Preceding her in death were her parents as well as brother, Don Champion. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Robert of Mexia; daughter, Leah White Stewart & husband, Robert of Thornton as well as two grandchildren & three great grandchildren.
