Charlotte Anne Raborn

Celebrated Life: Charolette A. Raborn, 86, of Woodway, Texas, was born on September 23, 1937, in Cleburne, Texas. Died-April 14, 2024, in her resident home in Mexia Texas. 

A memorial Service will be held at: Jones Funeral Home, address: 931 S, 931 State Hwy 171, Mexia, TX; Saturday; April 20th, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Parents: Mother- Jeanette Eddy Hodges & Father- Doyle Hodges Sr., brother Doyle Hodges Jr. longtime residents of Mexia Texas, daughter Charlotte graduated from Mexia High School, furthered her education by attending college graduating with an Associate in Radiographic & Medical Laboratory Technology. She worked for local hospitals, state facilities, medical clinics in Waco, McGregor and Mexia Tx. throughout her career. Charolette was loved and appreciated by her community and co-workers. Receiving award as Regional Clinic Staff Member, S&W McGregor- Clinic for excellent work abilities. 

Charlotte was a diligent worker, family orientated, respected matriarch of the family, she enjoyed her hobbies-planting/gardening/knitting, reading romance novels, she loved all her family and pets alike. She and Joe made plans for traveling in their RV along with friends each summer to the Oklahoma Dunes to race about from sunup to sundown in their buggy. Absolutely loved being with their Waco friends when time would allow. Charlotte and Joe loved each other dearly and Charlotte missed him greatly after his passing, speaking of him often and the time they had together. 

She was preceeded in death by her Parents Ms. Jeanette Eddy & Mr. Doyle Hodges Sr, brother Doyle Hodges- 2012, Husband of 41 years-Joe Raborn of Waco Tx -2019, sons Jerry Duke -2006, Michael Duke-2008, grandson Jonathan Mitchell-1981 

Survivors include daughter Janet Noonan, daughter-n-law Gena, Grandchildren: Tracy Speights, Nikia Sanders, Jaree Duke, Misty Morrow, Michael Duke, Daniel Fulmer, 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, various family & cousins- Ron, Patsy, Linda, Frank, Betty, nephew/niece Sonny & Charnell.
