Darla Schrimpshere

Darla Kay Schrimpshere, 56 of Groesbeck, passed away on July 4, 2021 at her residence.  A visitation and celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel.

Darla was born on May 4, 1965 in Dallas, Texas to Kenneth and Lina Schrimpshere.  She had been in the community since 1995 and was a manager at a health club.  She was a member of Dallas First Church. 

Darla was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brandon Hattersley Jacobs and sister, Staci Homer.  She is survived by her son, Randall Dobson & wife, Crystal of Groesbeck; daughter, Brittany Dobson of Mexia; granddaughters, Kaylee Dobson, Brianna Dobson, Riley Dobson, Alexis Dobson and Anna Dobson, all of Groesbeck; grandsons, Bentley Dobson and Lincoln Dobson, both of Groesbeck; stepmother, Sue Schrimpshere of Oak Cliff, Texas; daughter in love, Regina Gilchrest & husband, Joey of Groesbeck; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
