Donna Brewer

Donna Brewer of Bryan, Texas passed away September 7th, 2023 after a lengthy illness.  A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Point Enterprise Cemetery. 

Donna was born March 6th, 1946 to Joe and Virgil "Pinky" Swincki in Mexia, Texas.  She graduated from Mexia High School in 1964 and was a member of the Blackcat Band.

She worked in various occupations after graduation but spent the majority of her career in medical records keeping and transcription.  She was employed by the Mexia Hospital, Mexia State School, and in later years Scott & White Clinic in Bryan.

She was a die-hard animal lover and rescued many dogs and cats over the years who became part of the family.

On March 1st 1989, she married her husband Danny Brewer.  The two remained together until her death.  Danny served as her caretaker for many years and helped her adjust to life while battling cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and "Pinky" Swincki.

She is survived by her husband Danny Brewer, her son Ray Boucher, and numerous other children and grandchildren on both sides of the family.
