Dorothy Hendrix Marberry

Dorothy Hendrix Marberry, 94 of Spring, Texas, passed away on January 11, 2025. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin.  Ernest Fridge is the officiant and Chase Hasara will be the worship leader. Family visitation will be held prior to the graveside, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the cemetery.

Mrs. Marberry was born on May 20, 1930 in Tenaha, Texas to Chester and Eva Lou Hendrix. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mom and grandmother her entire adult life.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Marberry; parents Chester and Eva Hendrix; daughter, Nancy Mitchell; son-in-law, Doug Shumate and sister Helen Behrens.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Harley and husband, Jimmy; daughter, Paula Shumate; son, John Marberry & wife, Debbi; granddaughters, Shastie, Celeste, Terri, Brandi and Kimberli; grandsons, Jeremy, Jason and Matt; great grandchildren, Austin, Nicolas, Kati, Andrew, Emeli, Bryce, Aubri, Kenzi, Trevor, Kendall, Christian, Jax; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
