Emeterio Luna

Emeterio Luna, 81 of Groesbeck, passed away on October 30, 2023 at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel.  Interment will follow at Faulkenberry Cemetery in Groesbeck.  Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service, starting at 10:00 a.m. 

Mr. Luna was bon on March 3, 1942 in Mexico to Bernabe Luna and Eduarda Estrada.  Before retiring, he was a mechanic at Fibrix Filtration in Groesbeck.  He enjoyed fishing and mowing his yard and keeping the property in emaculate shape.  He had a big heart, and was always willing to help people and even helped several people over the years find work around the community. 

Mr. Luna was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Paulina Luna, Luciana Luna, Jesus Luna, Francisco Luna and Manuela Luna.

Survivors include his siblings, Juan Luna of Monterrey, Mexico and Cidronio Luna of California; nieces and nephews, Raul Luna, Maria Luna, Eric Brim, Maria Josefina Brim, Elizabeth Luna, Apolinar Barco, Felix Barco, Jorge Adrian Barco, Martha Luna, Gabriela Luna, Socorro Barco, Bernarde Baco, Pascual Barco, Dolores Barco, Ana Garcia, Gilberto Barco and Alberto Barco; as well as numerous cousins and extended family members.
