Evelyn Ruth Sipler

Sipler, Evelyn Ruth “Ev” of Morrisville, PA passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, at her home in Mexia, TX. She resided in Morrisville her entire life until moving to Mexia to live with her great niece. She was a graduate of the Morrisville High School class of 1949 and studied electronics at the Drexel Institute in Technology. She then opened E. Sipler’s Appliances in Morrisville which she owned and operated independently. She worked at both Philco Ford and Strauss Chiropractic as an assistant, and the Russell Ginder Agency as a licensed real estate broker. Ev was known for her altruism, superb memory, passion for knowledge and fierce independence. She enjoyed entertaining friends and family, her cats, bowling, growing tomatoes, and was an active member of the Christ United Methodist Church.

She was fondly known as "Aunt Ev" by many family members and friends alike. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star of New Jersey and a proud member of Soroptimist International of Lower Bucks Co. for which she served as President. St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Support Our Troops, Wounded Warriors, and the ASPCA are among the charities she supported.

She was preceded in death by her parents Winfield S. H. Sipler and Ethel M. (Smith) Sipler, brother Winfield C. Sipler, sister Dorothy M. (Sipler) Drechsler, and nieces Elizabeth M. (Sipler) Gibson and Patricia J. (Sipler) May. She is survived by niece Barbara J. (Sipler) Curry, nephew David C. Sipler, niece Kathryn A. (Sipler) Werner, and numerous great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on November 20th at Christ United Methodist Church 501 Wistar Rd., Fairless Hills with Certified Lay Minister Andy Rozec officiating. Eastern Star services will be held prior to the service at 1:15pm. Visitation will occur prior to the service at 12:30pm and internment will follow the services at Fountain Lawn Cemetery in Ewing Twp.
