Mr. Francis M. Kratochvil, 93, passed away on March 10, 2021 at Heart to Heart Hospice in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Mexia Cemetery with Fr. Carlo Benjamin P. Magnaye, M.F., officiating.
Mr. Kratochvil was born on February 2, 1928 in Mexia, Texas to Frank & Albina Kratochvil. Upon graduating from Mexia High School, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. After his service, he worked for Southern Pacific Railroad, retiring after 47 years as a signal maintainer. He was a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Mexia. Francis was an avid sports fan, and loved watching his Houston Astros and Texans.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his daughter, Debra Sullivan & husband, Randy of Lipan, Texas; grandsons, Jason Douglas and Nathan Douglas & wife, Kristal and great-grandchildren, Mallory, Addison and Britton.
