Jaymie Forburger-Taylor

Jaymie Forburger – Taylor, 67 of Mexia, passed away on March 4, 2024 at Ascencion Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas.

Jaymie was born on September 16, 1956 in Lubbock, Texas to Capp James Bird & Faola Pearl Patton.  She married Daniel Castro Jr. in 2003 and had been in Mexia since 2015.  He was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, writing, drawing, singing and spending time with her family fishing and traveling. She cherished those moments and was happily married to Daniel and enjoyed being with him. 

Jaymie was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rose Castro and Daniel Castro; sister-in-law, Melinda Hanks; and brother-in-law, Paul Pena.  She is survived by her husband, Daniel Castro Jr of Mexia; son, Zachary Taylor of Lubbock, Texas; brother-in-law, Antonio Rafael Castro and Mayro Castro of Cisco, Texas; Esmeralda Castro of Acuna, Mexico, Delila Castro; brother-in-law, Carlos and  Zarida Castro of El Paso, Texas; sister-in-law, Rose Marie Goddard of Hilo, Hawaii; Jose Castro f Pensacola, Florida and sister-in-law, Griselda Perry of Pensacola, Florida; aunt, Carmen Buzon of Fort Worth, Texas and sister-in-law, Odile Reutoria of Lubbock, Texas.

A memorial service is pending at Primera Iglesia Bautista Church, Jaymie’s home church, in Eastland, Texas.
