Jeremy David Ray

Jeremy David Ray, 35, of Mexia passed away on February 20, 2020 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel in Mexia with Bro. Rick Washington officiating. The family will receive friends before the service, starting at 1:00 p.m.

Jeremy was born on October 12, 1984 in Mexia, Texas to Leslie David Ray & Mary Lou York Ray. He enjoyed growing flowers, decorating, being outdoors and all kinds of animals. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church of Mexia.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Louis York and Bruce Ray and his grandmother, Zella Ray.

Survivors include his parents Leslie David Ray & Mary Lou York of Mexia; sisters, Melissa Herrmann & husband, Mitch of Teague and Christy Webb of Rockmart, Georgia; grandmother, Virginia York of Mexia; nephews, Austin Webb, Jonathan Herrmann and Erich Herrmann; nieces, Kaitlyn Webb, Winter Webb and Rebekah Herrmann; as well as numerous aunts, uncles cousins and other extended family.
