Jerry Moffett

Jerry Moffett, 75 of Tehuacana, passed away on June 25, 2024 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia.  He was born on October 8, 1948 in Waco, Texas to Carl & Althea Bunch Moffett. 

He was a jack of all trades and had many skills that he contributed to the workforce.  Most recently, before retirement, he was a guard for the prison system.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Carl Moffett.  Among survivors are is wife, Leslie Moffett; children, Amy Medina, Eric Moffett & wife, Brandi, Chassity Smith & husband, Keith; step-children, Christi Johnson and Lee Baker; sister, Nancy Smith and Maxine McClain; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended.

Mr. Moffett will be cremated and his family will have a burial for him at a later date.
