Joe Davis

Joe Davis passed away May 19, 2021 in Mexia, Texas at 95 years old. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Cunningham Cemetery in Silsbee, Texas. 

Joe was born in Mexia, Texas on January 22, 1926. He was a Navy veteran who worked for 55 years as a Master Electrician living in Phoenix, Az. and Silsbee, Texas. He retired to Mexia.

He was a loving husband to wife, Joyce who preceded him in death and father to Laura Lewis and uncle to Sarah Mitchell Markey of Katy, Texas, Carolyn Sue Hathaway of Silsbee, Texas, Patricia Ann Faltesek of Houston, Texas and Elke and Kevin Fitch of Mexia, Texas.  His siblings, Bobby Davis of Silsbee, Texas, Wade Davis of Silsbee, Texas; Alaine Graham of Silsbee, Texas; Wade Davis & wife, Elsie Davis of Mexia, Texas; and sister-in-law Terra Davis of Silsbee, Texas.

He was preceded in death by brothers Lawrence, Jack and Robert Davis and sister Mary Mitchell.
