Karla Diane Auld

Karla Diane Auld went to be with God on November 20, 2025, at the age of 64. Karla was born June 13, 1961, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Edmil Womack and Dorothy Faye (Taylor) Auld. Both are now deceased. Karla is survived by her brother, Randy Wayne Auld, and his spouse Judy; their children, Jessie David Auld and his spouse Stephanie, Rebecca Nicole “Nickie” Irby and her spouse Justin, and Cassandra “Cassie” Noel Lilly and her spouse Erin; grandchildren, Rebecca Destiny Michelle Darden, Triston David Auld, Sydney Renee Auld, Logan Joshua Wayne Irby, Skyler James Taylor Darden, Jacob Ian Dale Irby, Alister Lilly and Attika Lilly, and several friends and other relatives.

Karla graduated from Burkburnett High School in 1979. Karla never married and lived relatively close to Mom and Dad all her life except for a two-year period where she relocated to California in pursuit of a comedy career. She worked for over 7 years at the Mexia State School and as a hotel desk clerk, before living the rest of her life on medical disability due to poor health. Karla was a very private person. She adored her dog Rickie (deceased), and her two cats, Sadie and Bo. In her last 4 months, she made several friends at the Skilled Care facility in Mexia, where she also developed a passionate love for Bingo. Those that had the fortune to truly know her will attest to her strong will and dedication to the few close friends she nurtured.

She will truly be missed.

Graveside services for Karla are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at

Lost Prairie Cemetery, with Chaplain Larry Holden officiating.
