Kenneth Dale Kennedy

Kenneth Dale Kennedy, 76 of Groesbeck, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025 at the Groesbeck LTC.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Brandon Verm, officiating.  Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service, starting at 2:00 p.m. 

Mr. Kennedy was born on July 31, 1948 in Mexia, Texas to Vernon & Audrey Schroeder Kennedy.  After graduating from Mexia High School, he spent many years as a truck driver and mechanic.  He truly loved to work.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. The love of his life was his granddaughters. 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Frances Carter.  Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Kennedy of Groesbeck; sons, Chris Kennedy & wife, Brandy of Groesbeck and Jody Kennedy & wife, Veronica also of Groesbeck; granddaughters, Ryleigh, Breanna, Katy and Adalynn and Brother, Jerry Lee Kennedy.
