Linnie Leona McManus, 99 of Mexia, passed away on March 24, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. McManus was born on February 22, 1924 in Groesbeck, Texas to Geoge & Hassie Rogers.
Linnie married Bill Henry McManus in Mabank, Texas. She was a nurse for 15 years at the Mexia State School, before retiring. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tehuacana.
Mrs. McManus was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Henry McManus; son, James E. Rogers and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Kenneth McManus of Mexia, Texas; grandchildren, Michelle McManus of Robinson, Texas, Jerry Moore of Wichita Falls, Texas, Lori McManus of Pensacola, Florida and Shandra Bailey of Dallas, Texas; great-grandchildren, JJ McManus of Robinson, Texas, Makala McManus of Robinson, Texas, Lucas McAlister and Charles McAlister of Mexia, Texas and Logan McAlister of West, Texas.
