Martha Lloyd Shipp

Martha Lloyd Shipp, 79 of Coolidge, passed away on December 10, 2024 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.  Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Coolidge Cemetery with Alex Mose, officiating.

Martha was born on February 4, 1945 in Groesbeck, Texas to Warren & Martha Livonia Campbell Lloyd.  Upon obtaining her GED, Martha worked for Lonestar Church Furniture in Coolidge and the Color Spot Nursery in Waco.  She was also a cashier at the store in Coolidge.  She enjoyed flowers and gardening and playing games such as dominoes, canasta, Yahtzee and 42. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister ss well as sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.  Left behind to cherish her memories are her daughter, Sheila Davis of Coolidge, sons, Brian Davis of South Carolina, William Willis of Coolidge and Carl Willis of Coolidge; grandson, Shawn Davis of Coolidge; sisters, Doris Martin of Hubbard and Mamie Dabney of Thornton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
