Melinda Hudson

Melinda Kay Hudson, 42 of Mexia, passed away on March 10, 2021 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. Visitation Tuesday March 16 from 6 to 8 pm. Graveside services Wednesday March 17 at 10 am. at King Cemetery near Thornton, Texas.

Melinda Kay Beall was born on Feb. 19, 1979 in Houston, Texas to George Allen and Evelyn Kay Beall, both deceased. She attended Mexia Schools and Navarro College. She married Paul Dean Hudson on May 1, 1996.  Melinda worked mostly in Healthcare until she went to TDCJ, which was the last job she held. 

 She loved to shop, garden, and spend time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter Hannah, and two sons, David and Matthew, one sister Shelly Cloud, her deceased sister’s children, Christina Amezquita and Christopher Lloyd, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Melinda's beloved grandmother, Paralee Tabers, her mother, Evelyn Kay Jennings, her sister, Renee, her uncle, Melvin Tabers, and numerous other family and friends awaited her arrival. 

All her family and friends were precious to her.
