Nancy Lou Jones

Nancy Lou Jones, 90 of Mexia, passed away on June 24, 2026, at the Mexia LTC.   Nancy was born on December 24, 1935, in Mexia, Texas to Sig Erickson and Elsie Mae Eddy. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bennie Frank Jones, sons Roger Jones and Russell Jones, daughter, Connie Dale, and sisters, Martha Williams and Genie Lummus.   

Survivors include her children, Steven Starnes of Mexia, Texas; Vickie Lowe of The Colony, Texas, Rhonda Sanderfer & husband, Michael of Pottsboro, Texas, brother, Bobby Erickson and wife Joanne of Houston; daughter-in-law, Debbie Jones of Plano; ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family.

A private graveside service was held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Mexia Cemetery.
