Paige O'Hare

Kellie Paige O’Hare, 25 of Mexia, passed away on June 16, 2021 at her residence.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Mexia, with Reverend Tom Prentiss and Reverend Jennifer Pick, officiating.  Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service, starting at 1:00 p.m., at the church.

Paige was born on January 30, 1996 in Mexia, Texas to Kelly O’Hare and LaShawn Sanders.  She graduated from Mexia High School in 2015.  She was previously employed by Kirby’s BBQ in Mexia, where she was a very familiar face who was loved by all the regulars. She was also employed as a professional care associate with Girling Health Care. She loved the beauty of sunflowers.   

Paige was preceded in death by her mother, LaShawn Sanders.  Survivors include her father and bonus mother, Kelly & LaJuana O’Hare; sisters, Hallie Sanders, Rachel O’Hare, Andrea O’Hare and Kelsey Terry; nieces and nephews, Lacey, Trevor, Weston, Alexis, Aiden and Isabella; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended bonus family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Bob Crider family for always being there.

Paige belongs with the sunflowers, always facing the sun.  She was our ray of sunshine.
