Pamala Ann Craig

Pamala Ann Craig, 73 of Wortham, passed away on March 11, 2023 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Wortham Cemetery with Reverend Justin Colquette officiating.  Visitation with the family will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Wortham. 

Pamala was born on April 22, 1949 in Galveston, Texas to Grover Lee & Jessmyr Owens Morgan.  She retired from the Mexia State School as a switch board operator, a job which she loved.  She loved her Wortham Bulldogs, where she watched her grandkids play, and also enjoyed watching her Westwood Panther grandchild. 

Preceding Pamala in death was her husband, Tommy Craig; brother, Owen Lee Morgan and parents, Grover and Jessmyr Morgan.  She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Polly & Frankie Horton of Corsicana; sister-in-law, Marsha Calame & husband Ricky of Wortham; daughter, Krista Ball & husband, Ricky Haston of Wortham; sons, JR McLelland & wife, Michelle of Wortham and Josh McLelland & wife, Jeana of Palestine; nephew, Jeremy Morgan & wife, Jean; grandchildren, Ty Williams & wife, Karina of Joshua, James McLelland & wife, Bailee of Hobbs, New Mexico, Coby McLelland & wife, Morgan of Florence, Trent Williams & Ashton Langley of Mexia, Brody McLelland & Laura Young of Palestine, Darcy Taylor & Cole Turner of Wortham, Braidee Taylor of Wortham; great-grandchildren, Branley Clouse, Rylee Clouse, Austyn Clouse, Weston McLelland, Grayson McLelland and Kason McLelland; as well as great nieces and nephews. 

Serving as pallbearers are Jeremy Morgan, Ty Williams, James McLelland, Coby McLelland, Trent Williams and Brody McLelland.
