Patric (Don) Archibald

Patric Don Archibald, 70, passed away on May 16, 2018 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Richard Williams, officiating. Internment will follow at Mexia Cemetery. Family visitation will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services in Mexia. Serving as pallbearers are Chad Archibald, Colby Archibald, Dakota Archibald, Chase Archibald, Ronnie Ferguson and Dennis Evans. Honorary pallbearers are George Reyes, Dennis Evans Jr., Richard Johnson, Larry Baker and Kendall Walker. Don was born on December 12, 1947 in Mexia to Aubrey & Velma Archibald. He loved ranching, hunting, fishing, rodeos and his grandkids. The most important thing in his life was his two boys, Chad & Colby. All of the decisions in his life revolved around the boys. Don was preceded in death by his parents and step-dad, Hugh Graham. He is survived by his sons, Colby Archibald, Chad Archibald & wife, JoDee; grandsons, Chase Archibald, Dakota Archibald; great-grandchildren, Bryson & Bentley Archibald; sister, Louise Magness & husband, Findley; nieces, Lesa Hancock & husband, Kenny and Donna Story & husband, Dale, as well as numerous cousins and extended family. The family request that memorial contributions be made to the local boy's ranch, or the charity of your choice.
