Peggy Bozeman, 85 of Coolidge, passed away on March 8, 2021 at her residence. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Coolidge, with Reverend Bill Wright, Jr. officiating.
Peggy was born on June 15, 1935 in Mexia, Texas to Marion & Audra Curnutt Flowers. She married Tom Bozeman on December 31, 1985 in Coolidge and had been in the community all of her life, retiring after 20 years from the Texas Dept. of Human & Health Services. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, was an organizer of the Mesquite Tree Festival, a past member of the Coolidge City Council, was a member of Wings of Joy as well as a member of the First United Methodist Church of Coolidge.
Mrs. Bozeman was preceded in death by her husbands, Samuel Thomas Bozeman and Garlin Kilgore; parents, Marion & Audra Angeline Flowers; grandson, Lee Ray Duke and granddaughter, Brandi Brashear. Survivors include her daughters, Diana R. Smith & husband, Lane of Wortham, Sandra K. Park & husband, Jerry of Axtell and Patricia Wilcox & husband, George of Mabank; son, Kenneth Kilgore of Groesbeck; sons, Marty Dockins & family, Richard Bozeman & family; daughters, Chris Kilgore & family and Elaine Roberts & family; grandchildren, Jennifer L Hamilton, John W. Duke, Christopher Duke, Dena R. Watson, Tiffany A. Schwartz, Kimberly B. Weaver, Kathryn Kilgore, Cynthia Kilgore and Reba Huhn as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
