Ramona C. Molina

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, Ramona C. Molina, who left us on September 21, 2024 at the age of 92, surrounded by her loving family and friends in her final moments.  She was a God-fearing woman of God, with wisdom who spent every moment with her loved ones. 

Mrs. Molina was born on February 17, 1932 in Sabinas, Coahuila Mexico.  She was in the Mexia community since 1994.  She enjoyed gardening and carrying her radio around, listening to gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Alfredo J. Molina and Baldemar D. Molina; parents, Jesus Chapa and Genoveva Lozano Chapa; and brother, Alejandro Chapa.  Survivors include her children, Maria del Rosario Troncoso. Nicholas Molina, Maria Dolores Candanoza, Tomas Molina and Elvira M. Gonzalez; daughters-in-law and sons-in-law, Irma Molina, Maria Molina, Juan Troncoso, Rosio Molina, Isidro Candanoza, Elena Molina and Luis Gonzalez; 28 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, 9 great great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday. September 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel.  Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Serving as pallbearers are Isidro Candanoza Jr., Luis G. Gonzalez, Leonel Molina, Tomas Molina, Nicolas Molina, Damian Molina, Aaron Soto and Carlos B. Dominguez.

Es con profunda tristeza que compartimos el
fallecimiento de nuestra amada madre, abuela, tía,
Ramona C. Molina. Se nos fue el 21 de septiembre del
2024 a los 92 años de edad lo cual en sus últimos
momentos estuvo rodeada de su amorosa familia y
amistades. Ella era una mujer de Dios temeros de Dios,
con sabiduría que compartía a cada momento con sus
seres queridos.

La Sra. Molina nació el 17 de febrero de 1932 en
Sabinas, Coahuila, México y vivió en la comunidad de
Mexia desde 1994. Ella disfrutaba la jardinería y se
cargaba su radio para escuchar música del evangelio.

Ella fue precedida en muerte por sus hijos, Alfredo J.
Molina y Baldemar D. Molina; sus padres, Jesus Chapa
y Genoveva Lozano Chapa; y hermano, Alejandro
Chapa.
Le sobrevive sus hijos, Maria del Rosario Troncoso,
Nicholas Molina, Maria Dolores Candanoza, Tomas
Molina y Elvira M. Gonzalez; sus nueras y yernos, Irma
Molina, Maria Molina, Juan Troncoso, Rosio Molina,
Isidro Candanoza, Elena Molina y Luis Gonzalez; y 28
nietos, 66 bisnietos, 9 tataranietos.
