Raymond Chrisner Obituary
Raymond Chrisner, 69, of Mexia, passed away on March 11, 2019 in Waco after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 10:00 at Jones Funeral Services Chapel, with Reverend Michael Vestal officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Ron Arnold, Logan Arnold, Jamie McDaniel, Gene Thomas, Benjamin Taylor, Gary McKinley.
Mr. Chrisner was born on March 30, 1949 in Odessa, Texas to Henry Curtis & Mary Helen Hall Chrisner. He was a welder by trade, before driving trucks. He loved doing that driving, as well as working at his place. He also loved everything rodeo.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Chrisner. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lou Chrisner; children, Ron Arnold & wife, Donna, Lisa Zimmerman and Robyn Chrisner; step-sons, Jamie McDaniel & wife, LeeAnn and David McDaniel; sisters, Martha Chrisner and Aniece Sepulveda; brothers, Alton Chrisner James Chrisner& Al Odom; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
