Regina Phillips

Regina Mae Phillips, 71 of Mexia, passed away on March 8, 2022 at her residence.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mexia Cemetery with Ray Jones officiating.  Visitation with the family will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services in Mexia.

Ms. Phillips was born on January 11, 1951 in Mexia, Texas to Macon Howard & Willie Mae Harris Phillips.  She graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s Degree.  During her time at Baylor, she was on the Dean’s list twice.  Before retiring, she worked at Walmart in the Photo Lab as a Technician.

Regina was preceded in death by her parents, Macon & Willie Mae Phillips; sister, Charlsey Adams; brothers, Macon & Jon Phillips and grandson, Matthew Sanford.  Survivors include her children, Tina Williams, Jon Bruce Childs and Brad Phillips; brother, James Phillips; sister-in-law, Sherry Sullivan Baker; grandchildren, Lance Bell, Aaron Childs, Jayden & Jazzlyne Phillips, Zachary & Dalton Reece; great grandchildren, Jaydee, Ryker, Tegan Bell, Alice Childs and Bynlynn Reece.
