Sandra Sexton, 75 of Mexia, passed away on January 19, 2021 at Providence Place Hospice in Waco.  A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Mexia Cemetery with Bro. Rick Washington, officiating.

Sandra was born on April 15, 1945 in Highland Park, Michigan to Frank & Alice Lennox Burd, Jr. 

Sandy was a tough lady and a firecracker! She loved her grandchildren and would do anything for them. She was very fond of her little dog Coco who had been by her side for the past serval years. Sandy was helpful in any way that she could be to those she knew. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Sandy was preceded in death by her son, Joseph (Joe) Harter and her parents. Survivors include her grandson, Anthony Harter; granddaughters, Aiden and Aisley Edwards; son-in-law & daughter-in-law, Brandon and Jamie Edwards; Amanda Medina, a close friend of the family; neighbor and special friend, Sedric Brown; as well as friends and family from the Michigan area.
