Scott Robinson

Gregory Scott Robinson, of Blooming Grove, passed away on August 26, 2020 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Waco at the age of 42.  Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Providence Cemetery in Mildred, with Jared Rogers officiating.  Family visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Mr. Robinson was born on January 26, 1978 in Corsicana, Texas to Jim Robinson & Donna Farmer McPherson.  He had been in the community since the early 1990’s and was employed in direct support staff with Centex ARC & Mexia State School for 30 years.  He married Debbie Buckowski on July 7, 2007 in Mexia. 

Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Farmer McPherson; grandparents, Abb & Ila Farmer and aunts & uncles, Gerry & Dell Baker, Opal Beard, Truman Young & Kat Macanagey.  Survivors include his wife, Debbie Robinson of Blooming Grove; brother & sister-in-law, Jonathan & Lyndie McPherson of Groesbeck; Nephew, Nehemiah McPherson of Groesbeck; father, Jim Robinson of Blooming Grove; step-father, Jeff McPherson of Mexia; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Irma & Robert Buckowski of Paxinos, Pennsylvania; step-mother, Tammie Robinson of Blooming Grove; brother-in-law, Michael Buckowski of Paxinos, Pennsylvania; step-siblings, Braydon & Payge Huffman of Blooming Grove; and Becky & Emily Batchler of Frankston, Texas; cousins, Rich & Robin Baker Huebner of Oklahoma, Richard & Leslie Campodonica of Oklahoma, Mike & Shannon Hunnicutt of Oklahoma; Justin & Cheyenne Russell of Blooming Grove, Jordan Earl & Carter Russell of Blooming Grove; godson, Alex Abundis, as well a many more cousins in Texas & Oklahoma.
