Shari Rusnak

Shari L. Rusnak, 58 of Coolidge, passed away on December 21, 2022, at Providence Place Hospice in Waco, after a five-month, courageous battle with cancer.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel, with Reverend Alan Grisham, officiating.  Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service, starting at 4:30 p.m. 

Shari was born on March 2, 1964, in Wortham, Texas to Oran Ray & Frances Farris Daniell.  She was a dispatcher with Big Creek Construction.  She can be best described as strong willed, independent, hard working with a great sense of humor and loved her coffee.  Shari was a good friend to lots of folks.  She enjoyed being social and going to the beach. She loved her family and being “Aunt She-She” to her nieces and nephews. 

Preceding her in death were her father, Oran R. Daniell; brother, Joe Daniell and nephew, Tyler Archibald.

Survivors include her son, Mathew Rusnak; granddaughter, MaKenzi Rusnak; mother, Frances Daniell; sisters, Christie Archibald and Robbie Akers & husband, Charlie; dear friend, Vince Johnson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family would like to express gratitude to Dr.  Carl G. Chakmakjian and all of the doctors, nurses and staff at Texas Oncology of Waco and Providence Hospital in Waco, as well as the Providence Place Hospice Staff.  They would also like to thank the many close friends who gave such wonderful care to Shari the last few months.
