Stacy Dawn Faglie

Stacy Dawn Faglie, 54 of Mexia, passed away on September 5, 2025 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Randy Ayers officiating.  Internment will follow at Forest Glade Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service, staring at 1:00 p.m.

Stacy was born on July 27, 1971 in Monticello, Arkansas to William & Brenda Cowart Carpenter.  After completing high school, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree.  She married Jack Avory Faglie in Wortham, Texas on January 8, 1994.  She owned and operated Truck It Up Bookkeeping and Tax Services for 25 plus years, building it from the ground up.  Preparing taxes was her passion.  When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed cross stitch and epoxy cups.  She was a member of the Word of Life Family Worship Center in Groesbeck.

Preceding Stacy in death were her mother, Brenda Cowart, grandmother, Juanita Johnson and grandfather, Jake Johnson. 

Left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, Jack Faglie, children, Addie Faglie, Jack Avory Faglie II and Hallie Faglie; daughter-in-law, Kameryn Faglie; granddaughter, Tulsa Faglie; grandson, Lane Faglie; mother-in-law, Rosa Faglie; sister, Shawn Todd & husband, Joe; brother, Troy Stone and son-in-law, Brandon Roper.

Serving as pallbearers are Rip Jones, Randy Castlow, Ricky McCoy, Zack Morgan, Russ Foster and Blake Stone.
