Stephen James Lawless, 54 of Wortham, passed away on April 21, 2024, in Wortham.  Stephen was born on March 31, 1970, in Dallas, Texas. 

He was a very giving individual, who would give the shirt off of his back to anyone.  He had a very big heart, who loved his family very much.  He enjoyed tinkering with equipment and doing lawn work.  People in town loved for him to clean up their yards, because when he was done, it would be in immaculate shape, leaving not one leaf or branch and stick behind.  His three favorite things were family, friends and food.  He had a big sweet tooth. 

Stephen was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maggie Henry; nephew, Nicholas Lawless; aunts, Glenda Lawless Mulkey and Linda Lawless and uncle, Gary Lawless.

Survivors include his mother, Virginia “Binky” Aills; brothers, Shannon Lawless & wife, Michelle, William Chrisner; sister, Brandi Lawless & husband, Alan Knight; niece, Jordan Lawless; nephews, Jacob Chrisner and Eli Abbott; and great-nieces, Lannie Lawless and Asia Henderson. 

Mr. Lawless Will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
