Sunny Renay Leger

Sunny Renay Leger, 21 of Wortham, entered into Heaven on June 22, 2021 near Wortham.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Wortham, with Reverend Justin Colquette officiating.  Family visitation will be held prior to the service, starting at 2:00 p.m.

Sunny was born on August 22, 1999 in Clovis, New Mexico to Steven & Lori Flynn Leger.  She graduated from Wortham High School, and was currently enrolled in nursing school at Hill College in Hillsboro.  Prior to that, she had been employed at the Mexia State School.  Sunny was caring, had the biggest heart and was always willing to help anyone. 

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Larry Flynn and grandmother, Amy Jacobs.  She is survived by her parents, Steven & Lori Leger of Wortham; brother, Robby Leger of Wortham; niece, Aubrei Leger of Wortham; special friends Apria Coleman and Kaytlin Graham; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers are Chris Price, Tanner Hall, Grant Hubbert, Paul David Robinson, Kit Waldrop and Robby Leger.  Honorary pallbearers are Cameron Price, David Allen Robinson and Brantlen McAdams.
