Sylvia Villalpando

Sylvia Mejia Villalpando, 62 of Coolidge, Texas, died Friday, May 21, 2021 at her home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Coolidge Cemetery.  Family visitation with rosary being said will be held prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at Jones Funeral Services. 

Sylvia was born on September 3, 1958 to Cipriano Villalpando & Maria Mejia in Tejamen Durango, Mexico.  She married Antonio Hernandez in 1986.  They were blessed with two children.  She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.  Her job title was one of the noblest titles of all.  She was a Stay-at-Home Wife and Mother.  She took great pride in the raising of her children.  She loved being outside whether it was just enjoying nature, working in her flower beds or spending time with family and friends. 

She is survived by her husband, Antonio Morales Hernandez of Coolidge, Texas; son, Armando Villalpando Hernandez of Coolidge, Texas; daughter, Rosaelia Hernandez & Chris Henderson of Coolidge, Texas; grandchildren, Yassine Henderson & Chris Henderson, Jr of Coolidge, Texas; sister, Manuela Villalpando of Durango, Mexico; brothers, Luis Villalpando of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, Celso Villalpando of Durango, Mexico, Paulo Villalpando of Kaufman, Texas, Pedro Villalpando of Kaufman, Texas, Jose Villalpando of Durango, Mexico Juan Villalpando of Fairfield, Texas and Augustin Villalpando of Durango, Mexico. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cipriano Villalpando and Maria Mejia; grandson, Xavier Henderson and brothers, Porfirio Villalpando, Antonio Villalpando I and Antonio Villalpando II

Serving as pallbearers are Armando Hernandez, Logan Allcorn, Dalton Allcorn, Heath Allcorn, Adan Gonzalez and Chris Henderson.  Honorary pallbearer is Chris Henderson, Jr.
