Teresa Ann Bagley, 66 of Carthage, entered into eternal rest on November 22, 2021 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest in Waco.
Teresa was born on June 27, 1955 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Billy Gene & Bonnie Fern Young Phillips. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, Grannie Mom and friend to many. She was a spiritual woman after God’s own heart.
As pastor of Joel 2:28 Fellowship Church, Teresa leaves behind a small but mighty church family equipped to carry on the work. She also leaves behind a Godly legacy for her family and friends.
In 2018, Teresa and her good friend Marilyn Wilson, known as “Salt and Pepper”, started a weekly men and women jail house ministry in Desoto Parish.
Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bagley and parents, Bill & Bonnie Phillips. She is survived by her son, Casey Hart & wife, Carrie of Fairfield, Texas; daughter, Kinder De La O & husband, Erik of Chilton, Texas and grandchildren, Lincoln, Oaklee and Abigail Hart and Erik Jr, Sofia and Layton De La O; as well as her two precious grandchildren on the way, Knoxx Hart and Vida De La O.
In Teresa’s honor, the family request donations be made to the Messianic Ministry & Mission Africa or to a charity that helps feed the homeless, takes care of widows and advances the Kingdom of God.
In lieu of a funeral, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
