Terri Hobbie Obituary

Terri Hobbie, passed away at 45 of congestive heart failure/heart attack in Mexia, Tx, in the home she shared with her fiancé.

Terri was born in Hiawatha Kansas, July 24th 1973, to her mother Anna VanDerKamp and father Danny Russell. Three years later she became a big sister to Timothy Russell. She had a good childhood and lots of friends were made along the way. She gave birth to her first child, and daughter Courtney Marie Rose Landers on September 4th 1992, while married to Courtney's father Richard Landers. A few months later they divorced and she did the best she could to raise Courtney alone, while splitting custody. Two years later she met Scott Hobbie, they had courted for a while before finding out they were with child, and they had given birth to Scott Andrew Hobbie JR. On November 20th 1995. They went camping and racing and boating every summer. Almost Twelve years after giving birth to her very first, they gave birth to Brandon Joel Hobbie on May 8th 2003, and the very next year Kaja Ann Hobbie on June 10th 2004. They kept on camping, boating and racing until both Terri and Scott had gotten hired for Zachary construction, leading the whole family to Robinson, Tx. Terri had found her home there, coming back home to visit every once and awhile. Eventually she and Scott had divorced as well, for the better. She had just started to live again, and had a good run at it for the last 9 years.

She is survived by her mother Anna VanDerKamp; her father Danny Russell; her brother Timothy 'roy' Russell; and all four of her children Courtney Marie Rose Landers; Scott Andrew Hobbie JR.; Brandon Joel Hobbie & Kaja Ann Hobbie.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
