Toby Wayne Shockley

Toby Shockley passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his residence in Mexia. Please join the family for a celebration of life service at South McKinney Street Baptist Church on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.  Please wear casual attire.

Toby’s Journey began on December 29, 1976.  He had a heart for connecting with people.  He enjoyed fishing, cooking for loved ones and riding his 3wheeler bicycle. If you knew Toby, you know he valued honestly, friendship and being true to yourself.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bobby Sharp West; uncle, Don M. West and step-father, Leonard Yacky Henson.  His surviving loved ones are his mother, Donna Shockley; sister, Johnna Kennedy; niece, Madison Stettler; nephews, Brayden Kennedy and Ash Kennedy; brother, Scooter Meredith, as well as an abundance of friends.
