Vantley William Kelley Jr., 67, passed away on August 20, 2024 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel, with Rev. Michael Hensley, officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Rosemond Cemetery in Waco. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service, starting at 10:00 a.m.
Vantley was born on January 1, 1957 in Waco, Texas. He spent his career working at Kelley’s Used Auto Parts, pulling auto parts, as well as a painter, painting houses and a cab driver in Oklahoma. He enjoyed races at the dirt track, racing old cars, he liked El Caminos and Ranchos, and enjoyed fishing. His favorite was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceding Vantley in death were his mother, Maxine Stanley; father, Vantley William Kelley, Sr.; son, Gary Kelley; sisters, Marsh Stanley and Louise Kelley; brother, John (Burch) Irving Kelley.
Among survivors are his children, Vantley Kelley III & wife, Christy, Tanya Bosley and Carrie Ogilvie and husband, Whit; grandchildren, Colton Chappell, Maddison & husband, Aiden, Kendall Bosley, Baylie Bosley, Dillion Kelley and David Kelley; great-grandchildren, Teo Olvera and Alaina Olvera; sister, Kitty Guerro & husband, Thomas; brother, Joe Kelley; special nephew, Junior Kelly & wife, Beverly and Kayla Drake; special cousin, C.H. Corral and wife, Trudy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Serving as pallbearers are Colton Chappell, Whit Ogilvie, Charlie Drake, Charles Drake, Colton Drake and Jody Kelley.
