Wanda JoeAnn Michael

Wanda JoeAnn Michael, 84 of Wortham, passed away on February 29, 2024, at Providence Place Hospice in Waco, Texas.  She was born on February 4, 1940, in Houston, Texas to Marcus & Frances Trenck. 

Grannie, as she was called, loved her family; kids, grandkids, and any extras that came to know her.  She enjoyed playing cards, sewing and watching westerns. 

Ms. Michael was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus & Juanita Trenck; son, Don Elvin Michael, Jr; daughter, Donna Michael Langley and grandson, Rylance Langley.  She is survived by her son, Dale Michael & wife, Tammy; grandchildren, J.D. Michael, Peggi Griffin & husband, Lee, Courtney Phillips & husband, Nick, Carlye Michael, David Langley & wife, Misty, Darren Langley & wife, Meagan, Dustin Langley & wife, Lindsay, Dana Kokenos & husband, Curtis, Dylan Langley & wife, Kelsey, Reece Traylor, Laney Winkler & husband, Daryl, Don Michael III, Taylor Rogers & husband, Dalton; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Trevor, Racyn and Rylan Langley, Grady & Sarah Langley, Tyler Langley, Caleb, Chloe & Caylee Kokenos, Jack & James Boyd, Shepard & Brody Winkler, Waylon & Morgan Rogers, Kamryn & Audrina Michael, Quinton & Trace Griffin, Anna & Brent Phillips, Braylee Ingram and Annistyn Langley, and great-great grandchild, Brae’lyn Langley.

At Ms. Michael’s request, she will be cremated, and no formal services will be held.
